Exercise for Education
 5K Run or Walk

Sunday, May 7, 2006
 8 - 11 am, Burlington High School

The Second Annual Exercise for Education fundraiser was held Sunday, May 7, 2006, at the Burlington High School. The event, televised on BCAT, was a huge success. We had a great turnout with lots of prizes and a high-spirited atmosphere. With over 350 participants and many spectators, it is growing into a huge event. With the addition of a Family Fun Run and even a moon bounce, it was fun for the whole family! Thanks to all the volunteers and sponsors for making this such a wonderful event.

Details

Location: Burlington High School, 123 Cambridge St., Burlington, MA
Directions: From Route 95 N or S take exit 33B Route 3A North Burlington continuing for 1/2 mile. After passing the field on your left turn left into the driveway at the set of lights.
Registration/Check-in: 8:00 am, Family Fun Run Race Start: 8:45 am, 5K Race Start 9:30 am
5K Course: USATF certified 5K loop- view course map
Professional Timing and results by Granite State Race Services
Awards: Top Two Overall Finishers (M,F);Top Two Burlington Resident Finishers (M,F) Top Finishers in the age categories <10,11-14,15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49,50-59, and 60+, Random draw Grand Prize
Amenities: Mile markers, splits, finish line clock, and water @ 2 miles. Post race beverages, food, fun activities, DJ, and raffles
Fee:
5K: $15 per participant pre-registration if received by May 1st, 2006, $20 after May 1st, & race day.
For a $100 donation from your employer, your registration fee will be waived and your donation acknowledged in each runner's program.
Fun Run: (1/2 mile around the high school) $2 per participant payable on race day.
